Freedom, by Design.

Adrián Oubiña Santos trained as a technical architect. He left before the discipline could finish shaping him. Structural architecture, for all its precision, is built on constraint — codes, regulations, the physics of what a building is permitted to be. Maison Aureon exists because he chose to work outside those lines.

Origin

Technical Architecture

A discipline of precision and permission — where every line on a drawing answers to a code before it answers to an idea.

First Practice

Orixe Build and Design

Where the philosophy was first tested: that interiors and landscapes are where a client’s inner world can be built without permission from anyone but them.

Today

Maison Aureon

The principle carried forward, at a different scale, for a different kind of client — those for whom a home is not a display of wealth, but an instrument of privacy, and sometimes, of power.

Who We Work With

We work with individuals who do not need to be told what luxury looks like.

They need a space that understands what their life actually requires — the choreography of privacy, the quiet infrastructure behind an executive’s day, the rooms nobody else will ever see. Our practice sits at the intersection of interior architecture and landscape, because a residence is never only the building. It is the ground it stands on, and the distance it keeps from the world.

Maison Aureon does not take on every project. We take on the ones worth the freedom it costs to build them properly.
